Safe Space
A groundbreaking, long-term rehabilitative journey for IDF wounded warriors and veterans coping with PTSD.
More Than Therapy — A Second Home
A structured rehabilitation program for IDF soldiers in recovery. Based on experiential, non-verbal work through body and movement — creating safe connection with horses and authentic reflection of emotional states.
Beyond structured sessions, participants have free, open access to the stable any day they feel ready. No appointment required. No schedule to meet. Just the space to simply be surrounded by horses. This continuous presence — this enduring anchor — is what makes healing sustainable. It is what sets this program apart from anything else that exists.
How the Program Works
Sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Aviv Farm.
Groundwork & Therapy
Structured, expert-led therapeutic riding and equine communication.
Community Lunch
A shared meal that breaks isolation and builds social bonds.
Professional Advancement
Advanced stable care, feeding, professional riding.
Beyond these days, Aviv Farm remains open all week for independent time or 1-on-1 guided sessions.

Aviv Farm — Stable with a Big Heart
Aviv Farm was created and managed by Gal Cohen at Moshav Mishmeret — a professional equestrian sports and therapeutic-rehabilitation center with over 20 years of experience. After October 7, the stable became something more. Here, the gates are always open. Participants are welcomed any time they feel the need to come — not as patients, but as people who belong.
The stable is not just where the programs happen. It is a safe space, a community, a home.

Participation in the Safe Space program is made possible through the Belev Echad foundation, and support for the program is provided through Belev Echad.
